Continuity is very good; the previous company kept appointing different managers whereas with EDGE, we have had just two managers (in over ten years); Chantelle was excellent and we were upset when she left but then we got David who is very good with people and is very knowledgeable, he knows the site and always gets the problem sorted.

Another of EDGE’s strengths are their local contractors; the gardener is very good, the gardens are beautiful and the residents are very happy. He is very proactive and makes notes when he does his gardening /walkabout and lets us and EDGE know about potential issues before they become problems such as gutters, fencing etc.”

It’s been said so many times that one of our strengths is our amazing staff and how long they stay with us, that goes for our contractors too who we see as an extension of ourselves and very much part of your team.

Now of course, our staff all own our business too, which is just reward for all their incredible service over the years to our clients.

Its such a shame that so many agents don’t seem to value retaining their staff, with so many having almost a revolving door of property managers who have no time to build relationships with their clients. Their staff seem so snowed under that they have no incentive to listen and to talk, little interest in really understanding the history and feel of the properties they look after because they know themselves their company is likely to get rid of them soon as well.

Other managers tell us about their colleagues, their detached Boards who make promises in marketing material which are a long way from the truth on the ground. They don’t even speak to each other to see how they are actually working, so how can you expect them to know enough about what you want. All EDGE staff come into our office everyday. We all know you, we all work together for you.
